Breath Support The amount of air which is required for the vocal cords to vibrate efficiently. Many times "breath support" is identified by teachers as the primary focus of vocal technique, when in reality it is a secondary occurance that results automatically when correct vocal technique is used. Breath support is a by-product of correct tone production rather than a means to it.
